About This Class
An introduction to the basic workflow of modern music production using the innovative music software Ableton Live. Jef will cover setting up a session, feature set navigation, basics of beat making, MIDI, arranging and mixing in Ableton.
Takeaways
Students will learn best practices for music production, audio editing, MIDI arrangement and mixing techniques. Sound libraries and Ableton instrument presets will be shared and various genres of music will be demystified.

Interest in music production, no prior music experience or training is required!
A working copy of Ableton Live 9 on a laptop (demo versions of the software can be obtained at https://www.ableton.com)
